This CD is the 2nd in our catalog starring Levente Kende, one of Belgium's biggest living pianists. Probably due to his Hungarian roots he really completely feels the music of Ferenc Liszt, as Franz Liszt was called in Hungary. This brand new CD presents you the extreme imagination which Liszt exploited completely in his piano music. The compositions on this CD had a big impact on the music written by Bartok, Kurtag and even Debussy. These works do not focus on virtuosity in the first place but more on mystical aspects and the inner richness of music.
This CD is the first complete recording of the original version of the 1st Mephisto-Walz, in which Levente Kende is proving himself as an extraordinary gifted pianist.
