For the novice student it´s written as duo (easy level) with the teacher or with a more advanced guitarist. Also available as a guitar solo for the more advanced student and the professional guitarist. The three levels are available in one bundle. Cedric Honings made the transcriptions for guitar. Song of Hope is all about the universal thoughts of hope and solidarity. Kevin Houben took inspiration from the poem ´Hope´ of the American poet Emily Dickinson (1830-1886). "Hope" is the thing with feathers - That perches in the soul - And sings the tune without the words - And never stops - at all - And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard - And sore must be the storm - That could abash the little Bird That kept so many warm - I've heard it in the chillest land - And on the strangest Sea - Yet - never - in Extremity, It asked a crumb - of me. The composer gives a clear message: as bad as the world apparently looks, there is always the power of hope. After the moving part, it is time for a celebration with a lively finale. All themes and motifs eventually culminate in a festive apotheosis.
