Its companion on this disc is a concerto long attributed to Johann Christian Bach, but now proven to belong to one of Bach's lesser-known sons, Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach, who was a skillful composer, as this marvelous gem will testify. It is perfect for the beginning student, a wonderful preparation for the Mozart concerti. Includes a second compact disc with a special slow-tempo version of the accompaniments to help you get up to speed. Includes a newly engraved, authoritative printed music score with orchestral reduction, printed on high-quality ivory paper; and a compact disc containing a complete version with soloist, in digitally remastered stereo; then a second digitally remastered stereo version of the orchestral accompaniment, minus the soloist; and a second compact disc containing the complete version of the concerto, followed by a -20% slow-tempo version of the accompaniments for practice purposes.
