This exciting percussion ensemble arrangement is based on the original instrumental song by Steve Winwood and featured on Traffic's 1970 album John Barleycorn Must Die. The song also appears on Traffic's 1973 On the Road album and on Eric Clapton's and Steve Winwood's 2009 Live from Madison Square Garden album. Featuring notated solos for vibes and xylophone, this arrangement is designed to be "opened up" for blues improvisation, longer solos, as well as solos on additional instruments. Scored for xylophone, vibraphone, marimba, bass marimba (opt. electric bass), conga drum, and drumset.
