Following the release of Valse No. 1 by Universal Edition last autumn, the musical journey continues with two new releases by pianist and composer Florian Pichlbauer: Elégie No. 1, Elégie No. 2, and as well as the collection album Romances, Dances and Elegies. Inspired by stays in Paris, Graz, and Pompeii, freely formed, full of natural changes in tempo, and almost like captured improvisations, Pichlbauerʼs personal impressions merge into an expressive piano language. All works are published as individual sheet music editions and as a collected volume by Universal Edition, and in parallel as individual audio tracks and as an EP by the Supreme Music Group label.
